Tribute Donations: Honoring Those You Love
There’s no better way to honor and recognize the ones you love and respect than with Jewish Family Service tributes. For weddings, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays or remembrances, tributes honor those close to you and help JFS at the same time. We will send a card acknowledging your thoughtfulness to the honoree(s).

Auto Donation Program
Jewish Family Service accepts donations of automobiles. Our representative will pick up the car from your home or work, and complete all relevant paperwork. For your information, Jewish Family Service will sell your car, with the proceeds going to help support our programs.
Contributions of cars are deductible for income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law. After your car is sold, a form that you can utilize for your taxes is sent to you showing the amount of the sale.

JFS Program Funds
By making a contribution to a specific program, you strengthen our ability to reach out to those in need. Contributions can be made to any of the following program areas:
Financial Assistance: Emergency financial assistance for Jewish individuals and families to help with necessities such as rent, food, utilities and medications.
Family Life Education: Support groups, classes, and educational seminars on topics such as parenting, care giving, alcohol and drug education, and career services.
Helping Hands Volunteer Program: Matching volunteers with isolated elderly and disabled persons as well as Jewish holiday observance at assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
Individual and Family Counseling: JFS offers a sliding fee scale to make counseling available for all. We are able to see children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Senior Services: Our goal is to help the elderly “age in place.” JFS staff helps with the GJCC Golden Age program and provides information and referral as well as case management to the community.

Establish a Legacy
JFS actively collaborates with the Federation Foundation for individuals and families seeking to leave a lasting legacy. A legacy gift can honor or memorialize a loved one through a project or issue of importance to that person.
