Care Management
JFS staff provides professional management of:
- Home Healthcare
- Companion services
- Transition to Assisted Living or Nursing Home
- Entitlement programs such as Medicare, TennCare, Medicaid and Social Security
- Specialized social service, daily living and healthcare needs for you or your family member in need of geriatric or disability care
Visits and consultations with clients and families may take place in our offices, at the hospital, nursing home or other place of residence. Fees are charged on a sliding scale.

Counseling and Psychotherapy
Our staff of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, under qualified supervision, provides professional assessment for treatment or referral for all ages at affordable fees for a wide range of psycho-social problems, including:
- Anxiety, Depression, Phobias, Addiction
- Adjustment problems at work or school
- Relationship conflicts with friends, spouse or partners
- Family, parenting or child problems
A variety of modalities are available and may be recommended, including sessions for:
- Individuals
- Couples
- Families
- Groups
Fees are charged on a sliding scale or may be reimbursed through private health insurance. JFS is a participating Medicare provider.

Emergency Financial Assistance
Supplemental loans and grants for basic needs during unexpected crisis to eligible individuals and families.

Family Life and Community Enrichment
Educational presentations, support groups and informal social services in and outside of the JFS offices are provided on a regular basis. We are always open to ideas and requests for topics or programs tailored to the needs of your organization or congregation.

Social service outreach activities and programs for seniors

- Career Networking Program for unemployed, underemployed, and those returning to the job market
