A Jewish Volunteer Initiative

Helping Hands is a program designed to support senior adults and people with disabilities in the Nashville Jewish community. Volunteers can match their interests and skills with the needs of seniors to create a mutually rewarding experience. Services include:

Helping Hands volunteers of all ages are an indispensable part of Jewish Family Service. By performing many vital tasks, they supplement and enhance the work of the agency’s professional staff. Volunteers also transmit the warmth and concern of the community to those we serve.
